  Notes	John Bibby's is the only early 17th century Bibby baptism found in the Little Horkesley Parish Register. There is a gap of one or more generations between John and the John shown here as his son. More research is needed before this gap can be filled. At the time of writing, September 2013, only the Great and Little Horkesley Parish Registers have been examined. It's clear that Bibbys moved between Great and Little Horkesley so Registers for surrounding parishes, including those in Colchester, need careful examination to see whether there is evidence that members of the Bibby family extended beyond the Horkesleys.
