  Notes	BIOGRAPHY: William D. BYRD, according to Gerald POST's book "ALIVE AND GOOD TO KNOW", was Postmaster at Woodland from 17 Feb 1857 to 2 Mar 1858. He was Justice of the Peace from 1858 to 1862. He was Postmaster at White Oak (now Weaver) from 4 Jan 1875 to 11 Jul 1878. He operated a store at White Oak, he was a teacher, and last, but not least, he was a farmer.
