According to Bobby Thorn, June 2009:
"Uncle Leslie of course worked & lived in Naples - The Di Lugo Wood shipping Company. Dorothea fell for him when he was on the Grand Tour. King Farouk chased her, but she was devoted to Uncle."
In April 2025, Bobby Thorn added "Their daughter Julia Minter Carano produced two sons, Simon & Paul, onne a Doctor & the other a solicitor. Julia received a gold medal from the Pope for her work in one of their disasters - sorry for forgetting what it was. There is a plaque in the English Church near the sea front in Naples dedicated to her father Leslie for 50 years service to the church. He was a good footballer too. I have a little silver cup presented to him in 1938."
