Working as barmaid at The Captain’s Cabin pub, London West End, therefore living in London. 196?-1974: With George Malpas in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. (They didn’t marry.) 1975-1987: With George Malpas at 153 Birch Lane, W Bowling, Bradford, Yorkshire. George was devoted to Doris & looked after her until her death, by which time she was confined to a wheelchair. GEORGE MALPAS was born 1 NOV 1926 and died MAR 2001 in Bradford.
