Minter Dies At Tifton Mrs. J. R. Minter, who died Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock, at the home of her step-daughter, Mrs. S. S. Monk, at Tifton, passed through Americus Wednesday afternoon, en route to Buena Vista, Mrs. Minter's home. Mrs. Minter was 77 years of age, and had been visiting in Tifton since Saturday. The cause of her death resulted from one day's illness of acute indigestion. Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Monk, of Tifton, and two sons, O. L. and C. L. Minter, of Fitzgerald, Ga. (sic-survive her) The burial will be at Buena Vista Thursday. Mrs. Minter had a number of acquaintances in Americus who will regret to hear of her death and sympathize with her family.
