  Notes	Up to the census of 1881, Charles was with his parents and siblings. He married Clara Emma WESTERN in 1888 and, as can be seen from Clara's Notes, Charles spent time in goal in 1890 for assaulting Clara, and by the census of 1891 he and Clara had split up. At the 1891 census Clara was living at the Cross Keys Hotel, Crowle, Lincs. Her age is shown as 22 but her marital status isn't clear. I can't find Charles Henry BALDING in the 1891 census or indeed in any later census. The Electoral Register for Doncaster, 1923 includes Charles Henry BALDING at 33 Paxton Avenue, Adwick-le-Street, Doncaster. At the same address were William and Jane Ethel SMITH. The Electoral Registers for Don Valley, various years between 1924 and 1945 include a Charles Henry BALDING - it's unclear who this was. The Electoral Registers for Hemsworth, 1956 & 1957 include a Charles Henry BOLDING in Southmoor House (once a workhouse, by 1956 probably a hospital). It's unclear whether this was 1866 Charles Henry BALDING, misspelt. The death of a Charles H BALDING, aged 93, was registered in Q3 1959 at Hemsworth, West Riding of Yorkshire. This may have been he whose birth was registered in Q1 1866. The age tallies, so it is probably the right one.
