  Notes	From ancestry.com - Richard John DOWNEY, aged 16, an electrician, born Ipswich arrived in Quebec, Canada on the SS Montclare on 17 November 1924. He intended to settle in Canada. Richard married in Ontario in 1934. The witnesses were Kenneth E DOWNEY and Connie E A DOWNEY, of Windsor, Ontario. Richard, a clerk, and his wife appeared in the 1935 List of Electors in Ontario, living at 234 Giles Boulevard East, Essex West, Ontario. A birth certificate at Ontario, Canada, Deaths and Deaths Overseas, 1869-1948 (at ancestry.com), shows that Richard and Ivy had a still-born daughter on 22 December 1939. The baby wasn't given a name. Richard (Jack) (1907 - 2003) and Ivy (1908 - 2011) are buried in Saint Mary's Anglican Church Cemetery, Windsor, Essex County, Ontario, Canada.
