  Notes	Living in Ramsgate in 1822. A baker in Margate between 1823 and 1838. Made a Freeman of Dover by marriage to Fanny the daughter of William Morphew on 9 January 1826, a baker, and Freeman of Dover at Dover in 1826 and at Margate in 1828 and at Dover in 1830. 1841 census: in Mill Hill Street, St Lawrence Thanet, Martin (40, baker), Fanny (40), Esther (15), Emma (12), Joseph (10), John (7) and Martin (3). 1851 census: at 10 Bath Road, Margate, Martin (52, baker), Fanny (53), Martin (12, errand boy) and Henry (9, scholar). In 1852, living at Bath Place, Margate. Appeared in the 1852 Post Office Directory of Kent (Kelly's) as Martin Minter, baker, 10 Bath Street, Margate. 1861 census: Martin was a lodger at 38 High Street, Charlton, Dover. His wife (63, baker's wife) was at the Bakers Shop in St Lawrence Street, St Lawrence, with Kezia UNDERDOWN, visitor, 32, labourer's wife, born Preston, Kent. 1871 census: at 131 High Street, Ramsgate, Martin (73, journeyman baker) and Fanny (74). Martin is noted to be suffering from rheumatic gout. A journeyman baker when he died. 1881 census: Fanny, now a widow aged 78 (!), a retired nurse, still lived at 131 High Street, Ramsgate.
