"Just when I thought I wouldn't find any new Minter info I came across this - my father's Cremation Record from 1976! His entry is at Park Wood Crematorium, Elland. The Crematorium is still there. He is 68, a retired Charge-hand, Cape Asbestos Works (where he got his asbestosis.) His address is 20, Boston Hill, Old Town, Hebden Bridge. My mother Edie Minter applied for the Cremation. The Cremation was authorised by the Coroner, James Turnbull. Ashes scattered in the Woodland Glade."
Later, John sent me a copy of the press report of the inquest into his father's death.
