Notes	1881 census: in a provision shop in Curzon Street, Coaton, Derbyshire, Mary (35, widow, provision dealer), John (13, scholar), Mary E (11, scholar), Alfred (9, scholar), Jacob (7, scholar), Nellie M (5, scholar), Walter H (3, scholar) and Gertrude M (1), and 3 boarders. At the time of the 1891 census, Nellie Minter (15, pattern girl, born Ratcliffe, Notts) and Gertrude Minter (11, scholar, born Ratcliffe, Notts) were living at 24 Butler Street, Lenton, Nottingham with their mother Mary COOPER, 45, born Coton in Elem, Derbyshire, and Nora TAYLOR (single, 26, char woman, born Burton on Trent), Mary's daughter. After Jacob died in late 1880 or early 1881 (death registered in Q1 1881), Mary re-married, Peter COOPER in Q1 1886 (Nottingham 7b/253). Also in the house was Percy COOPER (stepson, 12, scholar, born Radford, Nottingham). But Peter COOPER Senior wasn't there. Mary hasn't been found in 1901 - she may have been the Mary COOPER whose death at age 49 was registered at Nottingham in Q3 1895 (Nottingham 7b/167). Nothing has been discovered about Nora TAYLOR.
