  Notes	findmypast.com has the passenger list of the SS MV Britannic which sailed from Liverpool on 20 July 1940 bound for New York. On it, apparently unaccompanied, was 10 year-old Gillian Joan COTTON. She is marked, together with several other children, as a refugee. ancestry.com has a virtually unreadable document dated 2 September 1942 relating to the crossing from Canada to Buffalo, USA of Gillian Joan COTTON. The Johansen-Hutchins family tree at ancestry.com has further details of Gillian's life, including her marriage in Ottawa, Canada on 16 February 1953 to Captain B N SEATON. I have not followed this up.
