Sir George was a stockbroker, member of the London Exchange, born in 1875. Sir George was the 2nd Leon Baronet. The Leon family owned Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire between 1883 and 1937. It was then used as a codebreaking establishment during the Second World War. The 3rd Baronet, Sir Ronald George Leon married the actress Kay Hammond. Their son, the fourth Baronet, Sir John Ronald Leon, is the actor John Standing.
