The source quoted there is "Cartwright and Kelsey", the Ash village school now a Church Aided Primary School. This information hasn't been verified by me. "18.Mar.1881/kept from school by order of the doctor" 1891 census: in Street End, Ash, Kent, Elizabeth H (23, cook) with Austen Gardner, brewer. Sister Ruth was the housemaid. In 1901 living with husband, a bookseller's manager, in Great Berkhampstead, Herts
