He died in 1975, home at the time 105 Luton Road, Cleveleys, Blackpool. March 2016: John J Minter adds that he believes that Redvers rose to be a mine deputy. Redvers' wife Myra is said to have worked with John J Minter's mother Edie Minter in the Café at Wakefield Coop where Edie may have been a cook.

Myra was a worsted spinner whose father John Hauber was a deceased Journeyman Tailor. Witnesses included Redvers' siblings Alice Minter and Charles Minter.
