  Notes	1841 census:in Brampton, Huntingdonshire, Willm. HUNTER (13) was in the same house as John (60, whitesmith) and Jane (50) TIPPING. William married Charlotte TAYLOR in Q4 1847. Charlotte died only a few months later. After an interval of between 1 and 2 years, even though it was at the time illegal to do so, Wiliam married Charlotte's youger sister Ann. Their marriage took place in Liverpool. Kelly Owens' contact has written "William and Ann had quite a few children and when 6 of them were baptised together, the vicar noted in the margin that the parents marriage was illegal due to William marrying his wife’s sister." 1851 census: on the North side of Main Street, Brampton, Huntingdonshire, (all HUNTER) William (head, married, 23, coach vice man, born St Ives, Hunts), Ann (wife, married, 24, born Bythorn, Hunts) and Alfred (son, 3, born Brampton). Also Lydia TAYLOR (mother in law, married, 63, millers wife, born Kimbolton, Hunts). 1861 census: in Buckden Road, Brampton, Huntingdonshire, (all HUNTER) William (head, married, 33, coach vice man, born St Ives, Hunts), Ann (wife, married, 33, born Bythorn, Hunts), Alfred (son, 13, bakers boy, born Brampton), William (son, 9 scholar, born Brampton), Louisa (daughter, 7 scholar, born Brampton), Anne (daughter, 5, scholar, born Brampton), Arthur (son, 2, born Brampton) and M Jane (daughter, 1, born Brampton). 1871 census: in Buckden Road, Brampton, Huntingdonshire, (all HUNTER) William (head, married, 42, tixman(?), born St Ives, Hunts), Ann (wife, married, 42, born Bythorn, Hunts), Anne (daughter, 15, machinist at ----, born Brampton), Arthur (son, 12, errand boy, born Brampton), Mary J (daughter, 11, scholar, born Brampton) and John T (son, 8, scholar, born Brampton).
