  Notes	As a clerk, aged 20 of "St Elmo", Kembla Street, Enfield, Sydney (next of kin Mrs Sarah Minter, same address), embarked on the HMAT Euripides on 20 October 1914 at Sydney, serving as a Private in the 3rd Infantry Battalion. Found at Trove - from The Brisbane Courier of Monday 25 Jan 1932: NARROW ESCAPE. Rail Motor Hits Car. LEVEL CROSSING SMASH. A collision occurred yesterday afternoon at the Boundary-road level crossing. Cooper's Plains, between a rail motor and a motor car containing five persons. Two of the passengers were severely injured, but the remainder escaped with bruises and shock. Mr. Herbert Minter, of 182 Montague-road, West End, had his bottom lip and forehead lacerated, and sustained a contused wound to the right leg. His seven-year-old daughter, Marjorie, received contused wounds on the forehead and a probable fracture of the nose. They were attended by the ambulance, and were taken to the Mater MIsericordiae Hospital. The rail motor struck the front of the motor car, wrecking the radiator and pushing the car along the line for several yards. There were also listings for 1943 & 1949 in Casino, Richmond, NSW for Muriel Minter at Greenridge, home duties - not clear whether this refers to Herbert's wife.
