Notes	BIOGRAPHY: Vester was a vereran of WW I. He fought in the infantry honorably in France. His first Name, given him at birth, was Sylvester. For some reason, after the war, he just shortened his name to Vester. After his death, apparently there was some confusion in recording the death. There was Sylvester on the record, but just Vester was reported dead, so now the record shows Vester S. PHILLIPS. ref: Texas Deaths file #24241.
