  Notes	Daughter of a market gardener, Lily died aged 94. Some memories from Margaret Young, May 2011: "Nanna [Lillie Cooling] always talked about her father earning 2 fortunes, he had a partner that led William to bankruptcy (so the story goes) and then had to start again, would like to find the bankruptcy details someday … Nanna told us that every Xmas her father would take them to Harrods and they were able to buy their friends gifts at whatever cost, didn't matter. William and Louisa had a fruit and vegetable stall in the Spitalfields market, 2 of Nanna's brothers were in it as well, Tom and Jack (John). Jack came to Australia once to see if Nanna was okay, the Cooling's had many rentable houses around Bethnal Green area The Cooling's also had a holiday house in Kent and that is how Lillie met Frank Leslie … Frank and Lillie made most of their money growing vine cuttings as Redcliffs was being planted up in vines at the time."
