  Notes	It's not clear when James was born. He first appears in the 1841 census with age of 12, suggesting 1828 but: 1861 census: in Salhouse, James (36), ag. lab., Rebecca (32), Jane (8) and Walter (3). 1871 census: in a cottage in Rackheath: James (45), labourer, Rebecca (41), Jane (17), Walter (13) and "Arnest" (1). 1881 census: in Green Farm Lane, Rackheath, James (56), ag. lab. Rebecca (52), Jane (27), Walter (23), Ernest (11) and Charlotte (7). 1891 census: at Barrack Row, Green Farm Lane, Rackheath, James (64), ag. lab. "Rebekah" (61), Jane (37) and grandson Arthur (6). Charlotte (17) was a servant in Thorpe, Norfolk. 1901 census: James having died in 1899, Rebecca was a widow (70) living on parish relief at The Barracks, Rackheath. She was noted as deaf. Her grandson Arthur W. B. (16) (probably Arthur Walter J., born 1882), noted as a cripple, was living with her. The notes 'deaf' and 'cripple' may have been added later and could both relate to Rebecca. Rebecca died a short time after the census was done. Later note (May 2009): It now seems that Arthur W B Minter was NOT Arthur Walter J MInter, since they both appear in the 1911 census. In 1911, Arthur W B (as just Arthur W, 26, single, occupation 'nil', born Rackheath) was in an inmate in the Tingwood Workhouse, Norwich.
