    Notes
    • 1861 census: Henry (21, farm servant) was a boarder in Agnes Pl, Cage Lane, Plumstead, Kent.

No record of Henry's marriage has been found. Emily was probably Emily HAM, who in 1861 at age 23 was lodging in Thorpe-le-Soken.

1871 census: at 17, Hercules Terrace, Lambeth, Henry (30, carman), Emily (33) and Constance E (4).

1881 census: at 11 York Street, Lambeth, Hy (50 (!), carman), Emily (52(!)) and Constance (15).

1891 census: at 11 York Street, Lambeth, Henry (50, carman), Emily (57), Constance (28, book sewer) and a 'relative', Jessie (5, born Bradfield, Essex). There is no clue as to the identity of Jessie.

Emily's address when she died was 11 York Street, York Road, Lambeth; she was 56.

1901 census: Emily died in 1893 and Constance married in 1892.The following entry may refer to Henry, if the birthplace is ignored as being incorrect:
Boarding at 14 Arcadia Buildings, Newington, London, Henry Minter (55, widower, coal carman, born Southwark, London ).

1911 census: the following entry seems likely to be for Henry, assuming 'Harage' meant Harwich, which isn't far from Thorpe-le-Soken.
Boarder at 16 Ontario Street, Southwark, London SE, with Joshua & Sarah POCKNELL, Henry Minter (68, widower, carman, born 'Harage').

1921 census: Henry Reynolds MINTER (81, widower, born Thorpe, Essex) was an inmate in an Institution in Newington*, London. His occupation was carman with Cochrane & Co, Creek Bridge, London.
      * I think was Rowton House, Newington Butts, London. a hostel for men.
