  Notes	Copied from findagrave.com: MARTINSVILLE BULLETIN May 14, 2010 A graveside service for Vivian Adkins Minter, 85, of 28 Moss Drive, Collinsville, who died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at her home, will be at 2 p.m. today at Roselawn Burial Park with the Revs. J. Calvin Adams Sr. and Randolph W. Sawyers officiating. She was born in Callands to Drewey Hirmon Adkins and Clara Lee Shorter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Edward "Ed" Minter; two sisters, Thelma Louise and Threma Adkins; a half sister, Mary M. Odell; two brothers, Bernard "Bunk" Hirmon Adkins and Harry Lee "Jack" Adkins; and three half brothers, Lloyd Carroll, George Richard and Tyler King Lynch. She retired from the sewing department at Bassett-Walker Knitting. Surviving are four daughters, Sandra Lee Johnson of Collinsville, Sharon Lue Sargent of Eden, N.C., Shawn Lynn Harbour of Martinsville and Sallie Lynda Courage of Martinsville; a son, Ralph Edward Minter of Boscawen, N.H.; a foster son, William Floyd Harrison; a sister, Rebecca Pulliam of Eden; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Community Funeral Services in Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.
