  Notes	Married Jane Wainwright BROWN Q2 1884 Barnsley 9c/244a. But not found in the 1891 census or subsequently. As Jane Wainwright HUNSLEY, Jane married again in Q2 1891. Unless this marriage was bigamous, John William must have been dead by then. The marriage certificate would probably help - it should show Jane's status at the time she married.. The 1901 census sheds some light on all this - see Notes for Jane's second husband Alfred GRAY. Living with Alfred and Jane were Albert HUNSLEY (born Q2 1885) and Bertrand HUNSLEY (aged 12 so born about 1889). Albert was born in Yorkshire but Bertrand was born in the USA. This makes it look certain that John William HUNSLEY went to America some time between 1885 and 1889. But who was Bertrand HUNSLEY's mother and what happened to his father? NB: in the 1911 census Bertrand becomes Bertram, aged 22, born USA, British Subject by parentage.
