Notes |
- The following appeared in The Advertiser (Adelaide) on 15 January 1953 and probably refers to this person:
"Ian Craig Helps Sick Girl
SYDNEY. Jan. 14.
Cricket star Ian Craig and South African broadcaster Charles Fortune won £96 for a sick girl in a nation-wide radio quiz tonight. In the 'Strike It Rich' quiz Craig and Fortune combined to answer all five questions correctly and win the maximum amount for Miss Noeline Minter, 19, of West Kempsey, NSW. The girl has a growth on the vocal chords and needs the money for an operation to restore her voice."
A similar story appeared in the Courier-Mail of Brisbane on the same day.
