  Notes	From findagrave.com, Dec 2014: THE HENRY BULLETIN, Tue., Nov. 9, 1926, p. 4, col. [edited]. Funeral services for Mrs. A. D. Minter, 92, who died Monday, Nov. 1, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. S. Slaydon at Burnt Chimneys after paralysis of several months, were held from the home of the daughter Tuesday afternoon. Interment was in the family burial ground at the old home place near Burnt Chimneys (Franklin County). Mrs. Minter was the daughter of the late Mrs. and Mrs. Isaiah Jefferson, , thus being a direct descendant of Thomas Jefferson. She is survived by one brother, Henry Jefferson of Sandy Level, nine children, I. T. Minter of Roanoke, W. H. Minter, Mrs. J. D. Eggleston, Mrs. T. G. Minter, Mrs. H. S. Slaydon, all of Henry County, Mrs. P. I. Hodnett of Martinsville, Mrs. E. L. Hubbard of Reidsville, N.C., Mrs. Geo. S. Dyer and Mrs. L. R. East of Danville. Pall bearers, grandsons of the deceased, were Messrs. H. I. Slaydon, Gus Dyer, Willard Dyer, J. W. Minter, Rieves Hodnett, Conrad Minter, Edwin Eggleston and Dorsey Eggleston. Flora designs which were numerous and beautiful, were borne by the following grandchildren: Messrs. R. L. Hubbard Jr., Lewis Minter, R. M. Myers, W. L. Norton, Lindsay Almond, H. C. Mitchell, Ansley Foley, J. C. Richardson, Jack Hodges, James Hodnett, Mesdames R. M. Myers, H. I. Slaydon, J. W. Minter, W. L. Norton, H. C. Mitchell, Gus Dyer, R. L. Hubbard Jr., W. P. Hodnett, Ansley Foley, Aubrey Holland, (----)? Britts, J. B. Kellmar, C. H. Earp, Conrad Minter, Crawley, Jack Hodges, Misses Elizabeth Hubbard, Bernice Stultz, Gladys Minter, Lizzie Eggleston, Virgie, Clara and Louise Richardson, and others.
