  Notes	February 2009. Leonard probably emigrated to Australia, some time after the 1911 census. There is no trace of his marriage or death in the UK marriage or death indexes; on the other hand the following entries have been found in the New South Wales indexes: Marriage: in 1929 at Canterbury district, NSW, to Florence M KAY Death: in 1968 at Campsie district, NSW - father's name 'David Louis' [Leonard's father was David Albert, his brother was David Lewis], mother's name 'Millie' [his mother was Minnie]. Florence's death hasn't been identified but may have taken place after 1976 (the current cut-off year for deaths on the NSW website). WorldVitalRecords, August 2009, has a record of the arrival in New York on 17 February 1921 on the SS Menominee of a Leonard Minter, aged 20, English. He was a fireman on the ship. This record probably relates to Leonard Henry. Australian Electoral Roll, 1937 for Harcourt, Lang, NSW includes at 89 First Avenue: Leonard Henry Minter, labourer Florence May Minter, home duties. Australian Electoral Rolls, 1949, 1954 for Harcourt, Lang, NSW include at 59 First Avenue, Campsie: Leonard Henry Minter, labourer Florence May Minter, home duties. Australian Electoral Roll, 1958 for Harcourt, Parkes, NSW includes at 59 First Avenue, Campsie: Leonard Henry Minter, labourer Florence May Minter, home duties David Herbert Minter, carpenter. Presumably Leonard and Florence's son. As Donald Herbert, David was also listed in 1958 with his wife, in Earlwood, Macarthur.
