Afternoon, April 22, 1935, p. 1, col. 8: (edited) Robert Allen Minter, 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Minter, passed away at his home on Church Street Saturday afternoon, following an attack of double pneumonia and other complications. He had been ill for about a week. Funeral services were held from the parental residence this afternoon. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery. The deceased had made this city his home for a number of years. He had a responsible position with a local lumber firm and was a member of Company H, local national guard unit. Surviving are his parents and one sister. === The paper dated Tue., April 23th, 1935, p. 3, col. 1, said he was buried with military honors.
