      Appeared in the Post Office Directory of the Six Home Counties - 1874 Vol 2 Kent as Geo. Minter, farmer, Treasury Farm, Ickham, Sandwich. A second entry, for George and John Minter, farmers of Wingham, Sandwich may also refer.

      Appeared in the Post Office Directory for Kent, 1878 as George Minter, farmer, Frognall, Wickhambreaux.

      1881 census: at Frognall Farm, Wickhambreaux, George, 71, unmarried, was now a farmer of 60 acres employing three men. Brother John (63, unmarried) was still with him and they had been joined by sister Sarah A (70).

      Appeared in Kelly's Directory of Kent, 1882 as George Minter, farmer, Frognell, Wickhambreaux.

      10 March 1884 Personal Estate £2794 14s 10d. The Will of George Minter formerly of the Parish of Ickham but late of the Parish of Wickham both in the County of Kent Farmer who died 16 November 1883 at Wickham was proved at Canterbury by John Minter Gentleman the Brother and Sarah Ann Minter the Sister both of Wickham the Executors.
