• Notes

  Married: It's not clear whether Lewis was married once or twice. The 1901 census shows him living at 4 Grove Mews, St Pancras with Mary, 48, wife, born Ireland. A Lewis W. Minter married in Q2 1911 (St Pancras 1b/199) - the spouse was either Mary BUCKLEY or another woman. There is no death record for a Mary Minter between 1901 and 1911. Lewis died early in 1911 and it's possible that he decided to marry his partner before he died.
