1 February 2013: Periodic update

Since the last update in September 2012 minor changes have been made to many sections of the site and all but a few have been reloaded.

The most significant changes are:

Islington, London - a new section devoted to a family from Poland which adopted the name Minter when they came to England.

Information from Ancestry's National Probate Calendar, which now extends to 1966, has been added.

30 September 2012: Periodic update

Since the last update in July minor changes have been made to many sections of the site and all have been reloaded.

The most significant changes are:

Lambeth, London - new information from Norman Minter has led to additional information about South African family members being added.

Rochford, Essex - new discoveries have allowed the family history to be updated, and individuals previously included in the 'Paglesham group' incorporated.

New information about births, marriages and deaths in the years 2007 to 2012 has been added.

11 July 2012: Periodic update

Since the last update on 22 March minor changes have been made to many sections of the site and all have been reloaded.
The most significant changes are:

Eyke, Suffolk - new information from Graham Minter has led to additional family members being added.

Brightlingsea, Essex - information about the Howling and Kent families added.

22 March 2012: Periodic update

Since the last update on 1 December 2011 minor changes have been made to many sections of the site and nearly all have been reloaded.
The most significant change is that all the individuals that were previously in the Westminster, London group have been moved to the Lambeth, London group.

1 December 2011: Periodic update

Since the last update on 23 October 2011 minor changes have been made to many sections of the site and all have been reloaded.
The most signifact change is the inclusion of Australian Electoral Roll details for years up to 1980. These details are visible in the Notes for deceased individuals (Notes for living people are automatically supressed). Thanks go to Chris Horgan for his help in extracting these details from Ancestry.

23 October 2011: Periodic update

Since the last update on 26 July 2011 minor changes have been made to many sections of the site so most sections have been reloaded. The sections that haven't changed are: Braintree, Camberwell, Clerkenwell, Croydon, Dover(2), Earl Stonham, Elmstone, Paglesham, Stoke by Nayland, Suffolk Unknown, Temple Ewell and Wickham Market(2)

The more significant changes have occured in the following sections.

Kent

Ash, Ickham and Whitstable. A feature in Ash is that the scrapbook has been reorganised.

Essex

Great Horkesley and Thorpe-le-Soken

Suffolk

Marlesford, North Suffolk and Wickham Market

26 July 2011: Periodic update

Since the last update on 17 April 2011 minor changes have been made to many sections of the site so every section has been reloaded.

The following are the more significant changes.

Ash

Thanks to Margaret Young many new pictures have been added to the Ash scrapbook. Additions have been made to the family of Ernest Minter born 20 January 1883.

Folkestone

Families have been added for John Paul Surtees Minter and Guy Dudley Biron Minter.

Thanet(2)

Additions to the Semper family have been made.

Essex

Great Horkesley

New information about the Seaborne and Burgess families has been included.

Maldon

Family details for Sally Maria Mayall nee Minter added.

17 April 2011: Periodic update

Since the last update on 22 December 2010 minor changes have been made to nearly all sections of the site so every section has been reloaded. Thanks to Cliff Minter it has been possible to enter details from his collection of references found in Kelly's and other Directories.

Families have been added for Sidney Minter born 20 October 1884 and Percy Edwin Minter born 1901.

A family has been added for Alfred Thomas Minter baptised 30 August 1858.

A family has been added for Henry Minter baptised 10 October 1813.

Preston

A new generation has been added at the head of the group.

Whitstable

Information about the Dawson and Cock families has been added, and new data added for Hannah Minter baptised 16 August 1789.

This group has been included for the first time.

With help kindly provided by Chris Horgan it has been possible to add details from Australian Electoral Rolls. This has also made it possible to clear up some of the outstanding queries in this section.

An American family has been added for John Minter baptised 29 August 1813.

Thanks to Chris Goddard's website, it has been found that these two groups are linked by the 1907 marriage of Alice Minter (Ridgewell) and John Marrington GOFF (Brightlingsea) Minor changes made to Brightlingsea.
