      Listed in Post Office Directories 1856, 1857, 1858, 1859, 1861as Robert Hen. Minter, 'Rose & Crown' PH, New Wharf, Whitefriars. In 1870 the listing was for Mrs Elizabeth Minter. In 1880 the listing was for son Thomas Henry (qv).

      1861 census: at 8 New Wharf, Whitefriars, Newington, London, Elizabeth (widow, 46, licensed victualler), Rebecca (23, bookfolder), Sarah (21, bookfolder), Elizabeth (19), Susannah (16), Ann A (6, scholar) and Susannah Minter (sister, widow, 38, born Southwark, Surrey). Son Thomas Henry was in Minster, Kent with his uncle and aunt John (50, born Christchurch, Surrey) and Elizabeth (45, born Bray Berkshire) AIR; John Air must have been Elizabeth (nee Air) Minter's brother.
