      Private no. 5825712, Suffolk Regiment, 4th Bn. Aged 30 when killed. Grave/Memorial ref. B1.0.17, Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery. The Thanbyuzayat War cemetery is located some 30 kms south of the town of Mawlamyine in south-eastern Myanmar (Burma). The war cemetery is meticulously maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and contains the graves of some 3771 Known and (154 unknown) victims of the construction of the infamous World War II Burma-Thailand railway.
