    • July 2018: The following is transcribed from Bank of England Wills Extracts 1717-1845 at findmypast.co.uk:
      Regd. 7365 4 April 1831
      Mary Minter of Tuddenham Suffolk Spinster died possessed of
      £2300 Consols @ 75 7/8 £1745 2s 6d
      £1200 New 3 1/2 @ 85 1/8 £1021 10s
      And by her will dated 24 December 1830 attested by three witnesses appointed her sister Sarah Tong and her the deeased niece Susannah Turner Executrices Probate was granted at Doctors Commons 11 March 1831 tp Susanna (in the will written Susannah) Turner wife of Michael Turner the niece of the deceased one of the Executrices Power reserved to Sarah Tong widow the sister of the deceased the other Executrix.
      In the will are the following words
      I give and bequeath unto the said William Frederic Schreiber Mileson Gert Edgar and William Charles Fonnereau their exors and admons the sum of Two thousand pounds three per centum Consolidated Bank Annuities part of the sum of Two thousand thee hundred pounds three per centum Consolidated Bank Annuities now standing in my name Upon Trust
      I give and bequeath unto my God daughter Susannah Caroline Turner daughter of my Niece Susannah Turner the sum of One thousand pounds three per centum Consolidated Bank Annuities part of the sum of Two thousand thee hundred pounds three per centum Consolidated Bank Annuities to be purchased by my Executors to be vested in and payable to the said Susannah Caroline Turner upon the day of her marriage provided that she shall marry with the consent and approbation of her father and mother or the survivor of them if then living.
