Leaksville, N. C. March 13, 1911. My dear little children:
If I die and leave you all; my last request is be good children and serve God, "Love ye one another." Remember me as a true mother and see that I am carried back and laid by my dear mother. This is my last request. I am willing to die if it's the Lords' will. Farewell children, one and all. I hope to meet you in heaven. Your loving mother, Anna Stegall.
