    Notes
    • It appears that Richard and his brother William moved to Cambridge and both married there in 1832.

www.deadpubs.co.uk shows Richard at the Wheatsheaf in 1839 (Pigot's Directory) and Rebecca in 1852 (Slater's Directory).

Richard was buried on 18 October 1840, aged 35, of Silver Street, Cambridge.

1841 census (indexed as MINTED by ancestry.com): in Silver Street, Cambridge, Rebecca (35, victualler, born Cambridgeshire), Mary (15, not born Cambridgeshire) and Richard L WINTER or MINTER, 50, tailor, not born Cambridgeshire.
The identities of Mary and Richard L have not been established; conceivably, Mary could have been Richard's sister, who was born in 1822.

1851 census (indexed as MENTER by ancestry.com): at 26 Silver Street, St Botolph, Cambridge, Rebecca (head, widow, 44 publican, born Ely, Cambs), Charles NEAL (lodger, single, 35, tailor, born Edinburgh, Scotland) and Rhoda HARPER (servant, 15, born Longston, Cambs).

Kelly's Directory for 1858 has an entry for Mrs Rebecca Minter, Wheatsheaf, Silver Street, Cambridge.
www.deadpubs.co.uk show that Rebecca was a tenant at the Wheatsheaf in 1859 (Records of Thompsons Lane Brewery, held at Cambridge Archives).

Rebecca married again: Charles Holmes in Q4 1859 (Chesterton 3b/1098) (10 November 1859 at Chesterton, Cambridge per Stella Herbert April 2009), with whom she appears in the 1861 census at 15 Upper Park Street, All Saints Cambridge - Rebecca's age is shown as 56, Charles's as 76.
