    Notes
    • From Daniel Parkinson, February 2012:
"... a revision I have made to a footnote [to Daniel's book about Rawdon] about Mr Seaborn's successor...
Perhaps through prayers and his pleading, an assistant was hired, five or six years after his 1869 report. The name of Edouard Roy a "lay minister of the Church of England" began to appear in the Christ Church register. He was Seaborn's brother-in-law, the widower of Clemence Rondeau, a sister of Aquile. She was born at Ste-Elisabeth in April 1842. Roy then married a Rawdon girl, Rachel Swift in 1876. He was a French-Canadian, from St. Francois, Yamaska County.
