    Notes
    • 1881 census: at 42 Mitchell Street, St Luke, London, William T TOMLIN (haed, 23, bricklayer, born Royston, Herts) and Rebecca A TOMLIN (wife, 23, born Shoeburyness, Essex).
William and Rebecca didn't marry until February 1882. It looks as if they were trying to hide their identity in the 1881 census. Rebecca's first husband may not even have been dead when the 1881 census was done, although I can't find him.

The 1911 census includes William & Rebecca in Plaistow, London. He was a bricklayer. They'd been married 30 years and had 7 children, all living.
