It's difficult to know whether Jane was actually William's sister: she was born in Margate so was perhaps a step-relation.

      1911 census: at 44 Birkbeck Avenue, Acton, Middlesex (2 rooms), William Alfred (head, 32, married, assistant in woollen warehouse, worker, born St James, London W) and Eliza Annie (wife, 25, married 2 years, no children, born Paddington, London).

One child listed: William George born 12 Jun 1911 at Acton. Service no. 219698, driver. Later address 54 Loftus Road, Shepherds Bush London. Served in France. Transferred to Z Reseve 24 February 1919.
